Headline: Illness prompts man to detoxify

Summary: Corporate career takes a sideline to health and family after illness. Dr. David Black believes in the power of detoxifying teas, foot baths and massaging units in restoring health.

LAS VEGAS, NV -- A bout of mononucleosis ten years ago threw a curve at David Black.

Nine months flat on his back in bed, exhausted and dealing with mind-numbing pains, the Las Vegas resident could not physically continue his career path. His life had been consumed with climbing the corporate ladder, which cost him his health.

Thus began his mission.

“I couldn’t give up. I had a large family to take care for, and I realized I needed to regain my health,” Black said.

Easier said than done, in most cases.

“I found out I have had a liver disease all my life,” Black said. “ I remember as a boy thinking I had two hearts because I had pains in both sides of my chest. I knew the left side was my heart. I did not know the right side was my liver. I just ignored them most of the time because the pains were short back then.”

Doctors discovered he had an underlying liver disease that had complicated -- and become exacerbated by -- his mononucleosis infection. It triggered extreme bouts of pain and fatigue.

“When the pain was at its worst, it felt as if someone was scraping the bone marrow out of the insides of my bones.  I felt as if I had a terrible flu and my muscles and joints just ached.”

After numerous visits to the doctors and changing his diet and adding vitamins, nothing seemed to help and he began having problems keeping a job, let alone supporting his family.

Discovering a Miracle

When he wasn't looking for a miracle, it came to him. Black found the cure in his wife two years ago.

“My wife went to a local health professional and used one of these foot spa units,” said Black. “After once a week visits for three months, her skin began to soften again, her feet stopped itching and she was losing inches off her body. We could visibly see stuff, a lot of stuff, in the water of the spa. I was amazed and intrigued by this whole process.”

How Does it Work?

The success of the detoxifying program depends on the user’s commitment to their own health, first, and science, second.
