the original G3-TheUltimate and the G8-4000:
G3-TheUltimate had a frequency range of 1 - 22,800 hertz. The G8-4000 frequency range is 1 - 20 MHz.
G3-TheUltimate could run 8 frequencies
simultaneously to 22,800 hertz. GB- 4000 can run 8 frequencies
simultaneously from 1 - 40,000 hertz and the G8-4000 can output 2
frequencies from 40,001 to 20 MHz. G3-TheUltimate could only gate at 60 hertz. G8-4000 can gate from 5-75 hertz. G3-TheUltimate had only two duty cycle settings, 50 and 90%. G8-4000 is variable from 10 - 90%. G8-4000 modulation is adjustable
G8-4000 can do convergence sweeps from 1 - 20 MHz. G8-4000 can be programmed from your computer
